BTEC National Business · Unit 2

Make Your Pitch

Pick the promotion. Explain your choice.

Read the business and its aim, choose the promotion that fits best, and be ready to say why. The right method depends on the goal, the people, the budget and the timing.

Before you start, have a think… Would a national TV advert help a local café?
How many rounds?

How it works

  • Each round gives you a real business, its aim, and the details that matter: budget, timing and audience. Even free-looking options usually cost time, design or materials.
  • Pick the promotion you think fits that aim best, then say which detail in the brief backs your choice.
  • The verdict rates every option as a strong fit, could work, or poor fit here, with the reason why.

Name your teams

Add between 2 and 5 teams. You can rename them anything you like.
