The narrator

Insurance is the thing you pay for hoping never to use it. Six core types matter for this course, and they each protect against something different. Most people mix them up. Today, we'll sort that out. You'll see a run of scenarios, one at a time. Pick which insurance would have helped. We'll tell you if you got it right, and why.

What you'll do

  • Eight scenarios, drawn so that all six core types come up in a single run.
  • For each, pick the insurance product that would have helped. Or pick "none of these" if you think none of them would.
  • Get immediate feedback, with a short explanation.
  • At the end, see your score, a one-page reference of what each type covers, and the key terms worth knowing.

Why this matters

There are six core insurance types in this part of the course. Each covers a different situation. Pick the wrong one on a real bad day, and you find out the hard way that your insurance doesn't cover what you thought it did. The skill is matching the situation to the product before the situation actually happens.
