The First 100 Days

A-Level Politics Simulation

Welcome, Prime Minister.

You have just been elected with a narrow majority. Over your first 100 days in office, you will face critical decisions that will test your leadership, challenge your principles, and define your premiership.

HOW THIS SIMULATION WORKS:
  • Random Crisis Events - Unexpected challenges can strike at any moment
  • Consequence Chains - Your early decisions will impact later scenarios
  • Leadership Style Tracking - Your pattern of choices defines your PM persona
  • Dynamic Scenarios - No two playthroughs are exactly the same

Each decision affects five key metrics:

  • Public Opinion - Your popularity with voters
  • Party Unity - Cohesion within your parliamentary party
  • Manifesto Consistency - How well you stick to your promises
  • Leadership Authority - Your perceived strength and control
  • Economic Stability - Market confidence and fiscal prudence

How Scoring Works: Your total score is the average of all five metrics (each starts at 50/100). Every decision changes these metrics - sometimes helping one while hurting another. There are no "perfect" choices, only trade-offs. Success means balancing all five areas while building toward your vision of leadership.

Warning: If Party Unity or Economic Stability fall too low, you may face a crisis that ends your premiership early. Every choice has consequences that ripple forward.

Your goal: Navigate these first 100 days successfully, maintain your authority, and discover what kind of Prime Minister you truly are.
